Mr. Randy Edwards - October 2026 Support Staff of the Month

Mr. Randy Edwards

Franklin County Community School Corporation is honored to recognize Mr. Randy Edwards, Technical and Audio/Video Support Assistant, Auditorium Manager, and School Bus Driver, as our Support Staff of the Month!

Randy has been a valued member of the FCCSC team for 12 years, and his dedication to students, staff, and the entire school corporation is evident in all that he does.

Randy was nominated for this honor by a staff member who shared: “There are few people who see exactly how much work Mr. Edwards does behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly throughout the corporation. Whether he’s behind the wheel of a bus before sunrise, troubleshooting technology as IT support, or working late into the evening running lights and sound for auditorium productions, he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure FCCSC students have everything they need to be successful. The beginning of the year is a busy time for everyone, but it is truly next-level for Randy. With upwards of 40 new students at FCHS alone, it was nearly unfathomable to think it would be possible for all of them to have a Chromebook by the first day. Somehow, Randy makes the unfathomable a reality! On our first day, every single one of those students had Chromebooks in hand, Canvas account created, and Clever login ready to go. And did I mention he also does this for FCMS?! Simply put, FCCSC is a better place because of Mr. Edwards. Thank you for everything you do!”

Outside of his work at FCCSC, Randy serves as the Pastor of Elm Grove Baptist Church. In his “free time,” he enjoys spending time with family, traveling with his wife, trail walking, reading his Bible, singing quartet music, playing various instruments, recording accompaniment tracks for worship, and working out.
When asked about the best part of his job, Randy shared: “Making a positive difference in the lives of students, faculty, and staff. Taking something broken and working with it, so it can be used again. Making sure the students have working Chromebooks. Going into a classroom for a teacher and resolving the computer, projector, and the blank screen dilemma. Having ‘real life’ deeper than ‘surface talk’ conversations with students, faculty, and staff. These are the best parts of my job.”

Congratulations, Randy!
