Mrs. Jenny Weaver - March 2026 Support Staff of the Month

Franklin County Community School Corporation is proud to recognize Mrs. Jennifer Weaver, long-term substitute teacher at Mt. Carmel Elementary, as our Support Staff Member of the Month.

Mrs. Weaver has been a valued substitute teacher at FCCSC for eight years, and during that time she has built strong relationships with students, families, and staff across the district. She holds an Associate Degree from the University of Cincinnati’s Raymond Walters College and brings a wealth of patience, dedication, and enthusiasm to the classroom each day.

Jenny was nominated for this honor by a parent who shared the following: “Mrs. Weaver has been a great help getting not only my kindergartener acclimated to school, but my husband and I as well. She is always communicating with us, quick to respond to questions, and on top of everything. Especially with synchronous learning, she has been amazing. I laugh when I overhear the chaos of a kindergarten virtual class, but she is able to make each student feel included and answer every question. My daughter loves her and talks about her often. We truly appreciate the work she is doing and are happy to have her as our daughter’s first teacher!”

Jenny and her husband, Greg, have raised their four children—Sara, Erica, Jonathan, and Justin—in Franklin County. The Weaver family has deep roots in the community, and much of Jenny’s “free time” is spent cheering on her children at 4-H, FFA, and sporting events.

When asked about the best part of her job, Mrs. Weaver shared: “The best part of taking this long-term substitute position is watching kindergarteners grow into students. For many, it is their first time leaving their families, and seeing that transformation into confident students is something few people get to witness. It has been truly amazing to watch their growth throughout the year.”

FCCSC is grateful for Mrs. Weaver’s patience, encouragement, and commitment to creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment where young learners feel safe to explore, ask questions, and grow.
