Mr. Dylan Huber - March 2026 Educator of the Month

Franklin County Community School Corporation is honored to celebrate Mr. Dylan Huber, Special Education Teacher at Franklin County High School, as our Educator of the Month. Dylan received this recognition in April 2024, a reflection of the dedication and compassion he shows his students every single day.

Mr. Huber has been in education for eight years, all of which have been spent serving the students of FCCSC. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with minors in Communication and Business from Hanover College, and later completed the Transition to Teaching Program at Taylor University to pursue his passion for education.

Dylan was nominated for this honor by a student who shared, “Mr. Huber helps me get my grades up when they are lacking — all because he knows what I am capable of. He treats his students as he would his own kids. I love having him as a teacher.”

In addition to his work in the classroom, Dylan is actively involved in school athletics as a coach for the boys junior varsity basketball team. Through coaching, he continues to mentor students, encouraging teamwork, perseverance, and personal growth.

Outside of school, Dylan enjoys golfing, attending sporting events with friends, and relaxing on the back porch with his fiance.

When asked about the most rewarding part of his job, Mr. Huber shared, “I can honestly say that my favorite thing about my job is showing students that I truly care about them and that I am someone who will always be there for them. A lot of individuals in today’s world can feel alone or like they have nobody to turn to. Helping my students know that they are important and that they matter is the best part of my job.”

FCCSC proudly thanks Mr. Dylan Huber for his commitment to supporting, encouraging, and believing in his students. His dedication continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact on our school community.
