Mrs. Linda Adams - Support Staff of the Month

Franklin County Community School Corporation is proud to recognize Mrs. Linda Adams, Media Specialist Assistant at Franklin County High School, as our Support Staff Member of the Month.

Mrs. Adams has dedicated an impressive 37 years to FCCSC, making a lasting impact on generations of students.

Linda was nominated by a student who shared: “Mrs. Adams is always there for the students when they need help, whether it's trouble with the copier, checking out a book, or a question on an assignment. She goes above and beyond for everyone so they can be successful. She makes the library a welcoming place because she’s always in a cheerful mood. Mrs. Adams is a mother figure to everyone, no matter who it is. She helps me in my decision-making process and supports me through tough situations. She keeps the room in order and the mood light with her bubbly personality. I appreciate everything she does for me and our school.”

Outside of school, Mrs. Adams is an active member of Central Christian Church and serves on the Laurel Town Council. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching mystery programs, and spending time with her grandchildren, including trips to the movies. She also loves traveling with family and friends, with Charlevoix, Michigan holding a special place in her heart due to fond childhood memories.

When asked about the best part of her job, Mrs. Adams shared: “There are a few parts of being in education that stand out as the most meaningful to me:

  1. Seeing a student go from ‘I don’t get this’ to a genuine understanding—it’s hard to beat that moment when something clicks.
  2. You may not always see the immediate impact you’ve made, but when a former student remembers something you taught them or gains confidence, it means everything.
  3. I strive to be a consistent, supportive presence—teaching students how to think, question, and solve problems.
  4. And finally… no two days are the same. There’s always a new challenge, a funny moment, or a meaningful connection to be made.”

FCCSC is incredibly thankful for the years of dedication, care, and positivity Linda has given to our students and staff.
