Wildcat Pulse – September 2022

Here are your monthly sights and sounds from Franklin County High School for September 2022. If you would like your photos to be featured, be sure to send them to dherbert@fccsc.k12.in.us with the subject FCHS Pulse.

Welcome Back!

I am extremely pleased to announce that this year’s first month into the new school year has been successful. Students are actively engaged in  rigorous learning opportunities and staff members are getting back into their daily routines. Positivity engulfs the halls and the Wildcat school pride is shining through. Teachers are building positive and productive relationships that provide the most support to students in their journey toward their college and career goals. The guidance staff is always ready to assist students with any questions that they may have. Our WCC, Internship programs, and plethora of on-site trade, technical, and agricutural programs are second to none. This year we are also working towards an Early College endorsement. It is an honor to work with such fine professionals and I encourage you as parents/guardians to get involved with FCHS and be an active part of the Wildcat family. Thank you for your continued support. Go Wildcats! – Ms South

Meanwhile, in Mr. Hofer’s Speech Class…

Speech students have been working on honing their communication skills during the first few weeks of school. This activity asked them to complete a puzzle in small groups by only using their non-verbal communication skills. Students had to work together to complete the task and then realized that the other groups had some of their missing pieces. This forced them to work together as a collective team to complete their individual puzzles.

September Students of the Month – Congratulations!!!
