October 2023 Support Staff of the Month

Director of Operations, Mr. Keith Isaacs, is thrilled to announce that Mrs. Beth Fultz, Media Specialist Assistant at Franklin County Middle School, has been selected as October’s “Support Staff of the Month.” 

Beth joined the Franklin County Community School Corporation in 1999, making this her 24th year. 

Beth was nominated for this honor by nine students and staff members. When asked why Mrs. Fultz should be considered for this recognition, they responded, “Beth is a wonderful person. Her kind and compassionate personality is apparent in all that she does. She does her job effectively and efficiently, all while having a smile on her face. Beth makes connections with her students and offers book recommendations based upon what she has learned about that student. She simply cares. Aside from her role in the library, Mrs. Fultz is ready and willing to contribute in any way she can.” Several students reported, “Mrs. Fultz is one of the nicest people we have met at FCMS. She makes the library so welcoming and always greets everyone with a smile. Mrs. Fultz is always there to talk to whenever you need a trustworthy person and is always kind and considerate when doing so.” 

In addition to inspiring children to read, Beth is very involved in community activities and organizations. She is a member of the Whitcomb United Methodist Church and also attends Springfield Community Church in the evenings. Beth is also a member of the Franklin County Machinery Club and a 35 year leader of the Whitcomb Boosters 4-H Club. In her free time, Beth enjoys her flowers, baking, crocheting, visiting friends, and riding her tractor and quad. Most importantly, she loves spending time making memories with family, especially her five grandchildren. 

When asked what the best part of her job is, Mrs. Fultz responded, “The people I work with and I love the kids.” 
The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
