September 2022 Support Staff of the Month

Director of Operations, Mr. Keith Isaacs, is pleased to announce that Mrs. Annette Taylor, paraprofessional at Laurel Elementary, has been selected as September’s “Support Staff of the Month.”

Annette Taylor has worked at the Franklin County Community School Corporation for 16 years.

Mrs. Taylor was nominated for this honor by three colleagues. When asked why Mrs. Taylor should be considered for this recognition, they responded, “Annette can walk into a classroom and within minutes understand where help is needed and assist without being told what to do. She genuinely cares about the students and always puts them first. She never complains and is always positive. Overall, she is a hardworking paraprofessional who goes above and beyond expectation!”

In addition to her responsibilities in the classroom, Annette also teaches children’s church at her ministry. In her free time, Annette enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the Smoky Mountains.

When asked what the best part of her job is, Annette responded, “I have been blessed to work with so many different students over the years. This year I am in the Kindergarten room. I love the hugs, smiles, the ‘I love you’s,’ and seeing the kids achieve little tasks each day.”

The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
