A.P.P.L.E.S. By-Laws

About our organization…

The Mt. Carmel A.P.P.L.E.S. is an organization open to all the Mt. Carmel School parents, grandparents, building staff, and any other persons interested in programs to benefit Mt. Carmel School.

The A.P.P.L.E.S. were formed in 1985 in response to a need for parent involvement at Mt. Carmel School.  Meetings, held monthly and it provides an opportunity to learn about school activities and upcoming plans, and establish or promote new ideas.  Your input will help provide insight for the principal and staff as to the needs of the students and community.

Some of the events organized by APPLES in the part are: Back To School Bash, Classroom Party Coordinators, Craft Show, Santa Shop, Valentine’s Day, COSI, School Carnival, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Spring Toy and Clothing Sale, Quarter Auctions.

No dues are required.  All funds generated through fundraisers, donations, etc. will be used solely for school related purposes, including programs, awards, equipment, gifts for students and staff.

A.P.P.L.E.S. also organizes the headroom parent program each year.  A form will be sent home if you would like to help.

If you are new to Mt. Carmel School or have never attended an A.P.P.L.E.S. meeting, please come and help make this a banner year.
