Franklin County School Buses DO NOT Cross “Failing Bridge”

An article in the December 2, 2015 issue of the Brookville newspapers by John Estridge entitled “Co. officials: School bus uses failing bridge” stated that a Franklin County school bus “is currently crossing a failing bridge with a six-ton weight limit”.  This is NOT correct.

When school officials became aware that the weight limit on Tee Hill Road bridge had been lowered, the school bus stopped crossing the bridge. Families affected by the change were notified and children are being brought to meet the bus until the bridge repairs are complete.
