Mrs. Linda Adams – March’s Support Staff of the Month

Director of Operations, Mr. Keith Isaacs, is thrilled to announce that Mrs. Linda Adams, paraprofessional at Franklin County High School, has been selected as March’s “Support Staff of the Month.” 

Linda Adams has been working at the Franklin County Community School Corporation for 33 years. Mrs. Adams worked at Laurel Elementary for 29 years and Franklin County High School the last four. 

Linda was nominated for this honor by three colleagues. When asked why Mrs. Adams should be considered for this recognition, they responded, “I cannot say enough about Mrs. Linda Adams. She is one of a kind! She goes above and beyond every day at Franklin County High School. Linda is an amazing helper in many ways. She goes wherever she is needed for the day and runs a classroom just like a teacher. She is amazing when she helps in the classroom because she keeps an eye on the students and walks around the room while the teacher is teaching. You can find Linda helping students in the resource room, library, classroom, and locker rooms in the gym. The thing I appreciate most about Linda is her desire to build relationships with students. She takes the time to learn everyone’s name and stops to have a conversation with students, asking them how they are doing. Linda Adams is making a difference!” 

When not at school, Linda enjoys reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling. One of her favorite places to vacation is Charlevoix, Michigan, where she has a lot of wonderful childhood memories. 

When asked what the best part of her job is, Linda responded, “In my 33 years in the education field there have been so many things that I have enjoyed. I thrive on the excitement of the students, from learning a new concept in the classroom to ‘Look at the dress I bought for the upcoming dance, Mrs. Adams.’ My goal is to always be a positive role model in their lives!”
The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
