NJHS Induction Ceremony

by Kylie Lea

The National Junior Honor Society induction was held on Monday, April 23rd. Many families, friends, and staff gathered for this rewarding and uplifting ceremony.

Current members were introduced and attended the induction to support the new inductees.

The current members of NJHS are students who were inducted to the NJHS last school year. Michaela Ferman and Adam grant, current members, recited the pledge at the beginning of the induction.

After the pledge, guest speaker Dr. Howell spoke to the audience, new members, and current members. She read from the book Oh the Places You’ll Go, by Dr. Seuss and made comments on the passages for her inspirational speech.

Next, the new members stood up and recited the NJHS Honor Pledge.

Additionally, the new members were introduced and received their certificates.

After the ceremony, refreshments were available to the inductees and their families in the cafeteria.
